Hlello World…..Walking in Gentleness

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance against such there is no law.   Gal. 5:22-23

God’s Spirit produces the fruit of  gentleness in my life and your’s too.  God is gentle, kind,  and plenteous in mercy.  He is giving gentleness as a  fruit of the Spirit.  As His servant, we should endeavor to walk in that fruit of gentleness toward others.  And with His help, we will exhibit the qualities of gentleness and through patience, meekness and kindness we will at all times do this in obedience to Him.

We should ask God to clothe us with His tender mercy, kindness, humility, meekness, patience and forgiveness so that we will walk in gentleness faithfully.  We should learn to walk as God teaches. We should put on the God-kind of love which is the bond of perfection and let love rule in our hearts and be thankful.  God’s fruit of love is the source and foundation of all gentleness in our lives.

We should, therefore, let God’s Word dwell richly with us in all wisdom, gentleness and truth.   We should, with God’s help, do everything we do in the name of the Lord and  giving Him thanks as we realize that we are not our own but have been bought with a price—-the price of precious blood.  We  should realize that we are crucified with Christ and we live on.  Christ died that we may live  and embrace His Word which tells us that we are dead to sin and our life is hid with Christ in God.   As we, therefore, take on the Word and the Spirit of God, we become His Children and are able to love the agape way…….unconditional love, one for another, and for Him.

It isn’t hard to love God and love yourself and love your enemies.   God’s love is manifest in our hearts so we can do His Word.

I don’t know about you, but I am so honored to be His Child and I appreciate the presence of the Holy Spirit both with me and within me.  It thrills me to know that God has first place in my life in the here and now and I rejoice to know that this will continue throughout all eternity and we will be together forever.  Father, is my love, Jesus is my life and the Holy Spirit is my breath.  God is my all in all.

How about you?
