Wonderful Made in His Image…hello world

Hi My Beloved Friend and Family:

I have a word of encouragement for you today.  Did you know that before the earth was formed that Abba Father knew you and me.  Even before the universe came into existence, Abba loved us.  Did you know that He has wonderfully made us in His image?

Did you know that He put all things in place and knit you into your mama’s womb and with a loving breath into your soul, He gave you direction.  He told your eyes to be colorful, He told your nose to grow beautifully, He gave you lips to whisper His name, He gave you intelligence to know Him personally when you grew  up.  He gave you His love, His Son, His peace and whispered gently into your tiny ear, “you are mine and you can choose Me when you grow up —- I will be thinking about you all the time, I will send angles to watch over you daily, I will watch you while you sleep and when you wake, I will be there waiting for you to notice Me. I will never forget about you even if you forget about Me.  I will stand quietly waiting for you to come to Me to receive My free gift.  I AM eagerly waiting for your call, inviting Me in, My Child.”

Abba Father, thank you for watching over us and loving us and being there.  I am so glad that you have heard my call and have written my name in Your “Lamb’s Book of Life.”     How about you?

Heart’s Desire…hello world

What is your heart’s desire?   If you could ask for and received your most intimate desire, what would you ask for?   Would it be money to travel,  live anywhere in the world like Hawaii for the winter and Colorado for the summer?

Would you ask for houses, boats, cars and trains?   Maids to do your house cleaning, butlers to open your doors, pool-boys to clean your pool in the house of your dreams?  Would you ask for patience, peace and property, health and wealth?

I thought about it one day for a long time and I decided I would ask for wisdom. Solomon asked for wisdom and it pleased God.   God gave him wisdom and to wisdom, God added to him to be the riches man ever to live.

I would pray in the getting of wisdom from God that I would use it wisely and not turn to the riches and  become a despot.  I would pray that God would keep me on the path He set down before me and that I would come to the end of my life with love as the primary thing, able to give unto others as He has given unto me.

Because God is the source of wisdom, using wisdom make God  and me partners in the life I live before Him and others. I pray that He and I would partnership to a long and health relationship with each other and all that we come in contact with and no matter what He called me to do I would do it for His glory and honor and we would walk side by side till I walk on home to be with Him in His house.

Wisdom for the Journey…

How does your day go?    Do you jump out of bed, rush to get dressed, grab a quick dry toast and cup of coffee and be running on down the road as quickly as possible to get to work?

Father said for all of us to come first thing in the morning to His presence and talk to Him.  He wants us to walk with Him along the ‘life-journey’ He has prepared for us and to get there, we have to go to Him first. If we remember to go to Him to ask Him for wisdom, direction, advice,  before making decision, He will help us to avoid some hazards along the way.

Sometimes we make plans and leave Him out of the equation. We run ahead without seeking His advice.  We jump off the cliff thinking it is a bump in the road and when we fall head long down the long dark tunnel, He will reach down and pick us up and put us back on the right path….sometimes it takes longer than others to get back on, because we fume and fight and blame Him for our big mess.

When we draw near to God and His Word, when we pray and seek His face, He will guide us along the green pastures, by the still waters, across the great divide and out on the right road.   He has the best plans for us….we just need His wisdom for the journey on a daily basis.

Think about it…..

All Have Sinned….hello world

What does the word ALL mean?

The American Heritage Dictionary of English Words says it means:    1. the total entity or extent of  2.the entire or total number   3. the utmost possible   4. every  5.  any whatsoever  6.nothing but  ….

Well then, ALL  must mean everybody, good people, bad people, red, yellow, white and black people, the whole number of in totality have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.   That being true;  when you sin – it really does not make sense for you to try to hide from God what you have done, are doing or even what you are going to do.  God sees all, knows all and also knows what happened in the past, what is happening right now, and what is going to happen in the future.

THAT being true, would it not make sense to just tell God exactly what you are feeling and what you think about it and open the door and admit your part in it and let Him start the process of forgiveness so your slate does not get overcome with more than you can handle?  Do you remember when Adam and Eve sinned and hid themselves from God?   Were they really hidden?  Of course not, God knew exactly where they were, but He asked them anyway, just to see it they knew where they were;

“Where art thou?”  God asked.

“I heard your voice in the garden, I was afraid, I was naked, I hid myself,” the man answered.

Then, like many of us, he puts the blame on someone else……the woman, you gave me, she gave me and I did……   He put the blame on 1. the woman, 2. God, 3. the woman, before he admitted he did anything.

The woman didn’t do much better:  she blames the serpent and then admits what she did.  She didn’t blame God or Adam, but she did blame the serpent before she admits what she did.

I am a very wondering person and I wonder what would have happened if when God asked Adam, ‘ Where art thou?’ if Adam had said, “Here Lord, hiding from your view because I have done that which you bid me not do. I repent, cleanse me O Lord and renew in me a right heart!”     What do you think God would have done?

Quick to repent or quick to blame others?    All have sinned and come short of the glory of God……

End of Era….Hello World

Word of the Lord to His People:

If My people who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.        Now mine eyes shall be open and mine ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place.  Now,  therefore, make confession unto Me, your Lord, and do My pleasure, and separate yourselves from the Peoples of the land and from strange wives.  Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness and what communion has light with darkness?  and what concord has Christ with Belial or what part has he that believes with an infidel?  and what agreement has the temple of God with idols?  for you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them and walk in them and I will be their God and they shall be My people.      Wherefore,  COME OUT from among them and be you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you!……and  will be a Father unto you and you shall be My Sons and Daughters, say the Lord Almighty!

He is Risen! ….hello world

He is Risen….that is the truth and if He was not risen, you would have nothing to worry about if you believe not….

God gave us choices to make and even told us to ‘choose life’  –  many times we forget that He who created us with an amazing mind also gave us a brain that controls actions in us that are involuntary….like breathing..How many of us think to breath and to tell our hearts to beat….??????

If you got a brain today,  choose wisely and do right.   It makes God happy to see you using the brain He gave you to think before you speak, act wisely about the things of this world and seek peace with all men and with God.

God will give you wisdom as He sees you making good choices.

Equally Guilty…Hello World

Equally Guilty

This is a conversation that I heard recently:

“You don’t know what you are talking about, the Roman’s killed the Christ.  When they beat him and hung him on the cross, they were and are responsible for his death!”

“Liar, liar! The Jew’s are the one’s who killed Jesus!  They  had him arrested, mock trial and turned him over to the Romans to crucify! You don’t know a thing about it!”

Equally angry, equally blaming the other for the death of Jesus Christ and equally wrong.

Let us look at why they are both equally wrong.

The Roman’s are gentiles.  They are not Jews. They were the government in control of the land and the people who lived there. They were the one’s who carried out the Law and if you broke it – you paid with a flogging, scourging, beating, and if it was bad enough, they would crucify you by nailing you to a cross and letting you hang there until you died and then leave you there till the birds and wild animals picked your bones clean. Bad way to die.

The Jews were the folks who lived under Roman Government. Along with other nationalities and all were to obey the Law of Rome. The Jewish Rabbi’s taught the people, told the people what to believe, how to follow the law and  when to do it. They told the people to do whatever the Romans said and keep quiet.

Jesus was born of a virgin, baptised by John and preached the gospel to the Jews first and then to the gentile.

Isaiah 53 says:    Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?  For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground; he has no form, nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid our faces from him, he was despised and we esteemed  him not.  Surely,  he  has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him  and with his stripes we are  healed. All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.

So, WHO is to blame for the death of Jesus?     BOTH- Gentile and Jew.  And neither one killed him because:

John 10:14    I AM the good shepherd: and know my sheep and am known of  mine. As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father and I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR THE SHEEP   (Jews)..And other sheep (Gentiles) I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring and they shall hear my voice and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.  Therefore, does my Father love me, because I lay down my life that I might take it again.  NO MAN takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it up again.  This COMMANDMENT have I received of my Father.

Our (Jew, Gentile, red, yellow, black or white) sin is responsible for His death.  He willingly lay down His Life so we could be forgiven of all our sin.  It is a faith-thing.  All that happened was orchestrated by the Father and the Son so that His Children could come home by faith, by grace by the blood of Jesus.

All are equally guilty of the death of Jesus.  Because All have sinned.

Who killed Jesus?   Sin.  All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Who died?         Jesus. Because He loves you, and the Father loves you

It is time to FAITH-IT.   Believe on the Lord Jesus and what He did for you and you shall be saved.  You don’t have to work for it.  You just have to believe it……..It is finished.

Faith Rest In God..Hello World

There remains therefore a rest to the people of God   Heb. 4:9

Our daily prayer to God should be “Thank you God for your wonderful Word which teaches me how to enter into your wonderful rest and thank you for your spiritual rest that you promised to your children if they will love you, obey you and believe your Word.”  and then DO IT.

Many times we read His Word and get up and go away and forget what we just read.  We ignore the promises He gives us in His Word and ignore the wisdom and faith growth He wants to bestow on us as we get busy in the ways of world…..we have shopping of groceries, clothing for the kids, clothing for ourselves, appointments, work schedules, family dinners to cook, houses to clean and so on and so on.  We totally ignore the invitation from Jesus to come to Him when we are heavy laden, when we are weary and tired of the ‘daily dump’ that keeps on keeping on, and take on His yoke and learn of Him. In our Father, we can rest our soul in Jesus for His burden is light and His yoke is easy.

We need to take our worries and fears and anything that disturbs our peace to the Lord asking Him in prayer and giving thanks knowing that He will take these from us and give us His peace and rest.  We can have His peace and His rest by entering into His faith as He keeps our heart and mind stayed upon Him.  Cast all of your care upon Him because He cares for you.

Father will give you joy of the Lord to be your strength and you can over come anything as you rest in the Holy Spirit.  Have you ever wondered why the Spirit is called ‘Holy’?   Consider this:   God is Spirit, Jesus is God manifest in  the flesh…..God is Holy, Jesus is Holy and He, giving you His Spirit, makes you Holy.  Resting in the Holy Spirit relieves you of all worries, fears and anything that disturbs flesh.

Faith rest in God.  Try resting daily and see what happen in your life.

God bless you and may He give His angels charge over you daily!
Love, J

God’s Love…Hello World

God loves you if you are good.   God loves you if you love Him.  God loves you if you do good things.  You are righteous because you are good. You are righteous because you are loved by God.  You are righteous because you do good things.

Did you know that every single one of those statements are error?  Yes, they are!

God loves you whether you are good or not, whether you love Him or not, whether you do good things or not.  AND you are not righteous because you are good, loved by God or whether you do good things or not.  You are righteous only if you have accepted Christ Jesus because He never did sin and no sin was found in Him. He is the only righteousness you will ever need or get.  All you think or do can never attain to His righteousness because you were born in sin and He was perfection from the beginning. He was tempted in all manner, but He never sinned.

WOW!    WOW!   WOW!

You can’t work your way into righteousness, you can’t buy righteousness, and you can’t attain it any other way than going through the Door and becoming a believer in the Righteous One who died on the cross for your sin and paid the price for you personally.

Lovely Way, lovely Truth and Lovely Life.

Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works in man’s behalf.

Hello World…. Waiting Time

This entire week has been a waiting time.  It has been a tiring week of things happening, things going on that shouldn’t be, hurting people who are hurting because those close to them are hurting, and the Lord has been relatively quite for some reason this week.

A friend told me she had had the worse week that she can remember in a long time.   I told her I had the least amount of sleep that I had in a  long time.  She laughed and said, “I understand. I understand.”

This afternoon as I was trying to rest before going back to church tonight, I read  my devotional message for the day.

Father told me to cast all my cares on Him because He was big enough to handle it.  He said He knew my worries and how I sometimes let them have the driver seat and then He told me that anxieties sap my energy.  He told me that I had never had a task as big as Noah’s so I needed to let go of the little fox’s because they spoiled the vine.  He then reminded me that my job was to do whatever He told me to do and His job was to make it happen.  Somehow that seemed to take a load off my mind.  I don’t have to make it happen….I don’t have to make it happen….Glory to God in the highest…..I don’t have to make it happen!!!   He told me to just give Him my worries and He would give me His peace because He has it all under control.   Nothing will happen that He does not give me the power to overcome, do, or that He won’t take care of.     Then my husband came up to me and said, “I love you more than anything in the world!” Then he squeezed my hand and walked away……

WOW…. God has it all in control………………
