Angels Come….hello world

I was working on my book The Journey Home today when it came up a bad cloud and the power went out.  I had been writing and forgot to hit save on each page. Suddenly there was a flash of lightning and a boom of thunder. My first thought was uh oh, lost those 20 pages of writing. The computer blinked, then buzzed, then the page wiggled.

My mouth kicked in and I said, “Jesus give your angels charge over this computer and don’t let the pages be lost.!” Immediately the page stopped wiggling, the buzz stopped, but the page blinked again and froze.

I sat for several minutes praying that the computer would not close down and lose all my writing for the day.  My husband came into the room and said, “Turn that computer off before it gets hit by lightning.”  I told him it was frozen and I could do nothing but pray over it and that was what I was doing.

For ten minutes the computer sat frozen and I sat praying. Suddenly, it closed down the internet, my document, and my book.  I shook my head and said, “OK Lord, it is all in your hands. After the storm is over, I will see if I can bring it back up.”

An hour later, after the storm passed, I went back to my computer and turn it back on. I logged into the internet and found my web site. I asked the Lord to help me find my pages.

Angel’s come when we need their help. And help they did.  Not one page was lost. Somehow they were all saved and all there, just as I had written them.

Prayer works. Try it sometimes.

Bad day at the well….hello world

Have you ever had a bad day?  Or a worse day? How about a bad week, or bad month?

I have been having a bad day at the well for over a month and don’t know why?  I prayed about it. Today, I read my bible and sought the Lord for a reason to what is going on, but I have had no answers.

Today, I decided it is just a season of drought. You know, where the rain doesn’t fall for weeks on end.

Today I went to the well and let down the bucket to see if the water level was high or low. I wanted a cold drink of water, not a tepid or cool drink.  Today, I needed a icy cold, teeth chattering drink from the well. I wanted to meet with Jesus and receive a new revelation. I wanted  relief from the drought.

I have been writing a book and I wondered if the time the book takes me away from spending time with the Lord is causing the drought. A few minutes ago, when I ask the Lord, He gave me this answer:

Nothing takes you away from me. I AM in your heart and where ever you are I AM.  Whatever you are doing, I AM doing it with you. My holiness demands a separation from sin and evil. I do not partake in the sin and evil of this world. I AM silent when sin or evil is working in your flesh. When you repent of the sin you commit,  My love will rescue you. My children do not recognize the sin they commit sometimes because it is so easy to slip into something without recognizing what you are slipping into. In your case, My Child, you have neglected your prayer time and your reading time and your worship time with Me. In this neglect, you have slipped back into flesh-working out problems, instead of Spirit-led working out of your problems. Your tongue has flapped more with deceit than you care to admit. Repent and run quickly to My arms. I will deliver and rescue and put you back on the path I sat you on in the fist place. You have left your first love and I desire you back in My arms.

Lord, I repent and I run to you. Thank you for showing me my sin. Thank you for directing my path into your arms. Thank you for rescuing me and setting my feet on the narrow path and thank you for loving me.  I am over  my bad day at the well.  The water is COLD!  I am HOT!

Amen

Priority One…hello world

Today I got up in a hurry. Jumped out of bed. Ran downstairs. Ate my breakfast. Jumped into my house coat because it was too cool for running around in my P.J.’s. Brushed my teeth.  And while standing there looking at myself in the mirror, I heard the Lord say:

“Forgot to say ‘good morning Lord’, didn’t you?”

Yes, I did.  Every morning when I awake, I open my eyes and say, “Good Morning, Lord!” and have a conversational prayer before I get out of bed.  Today I just jumped.

Loving Father is my first priority.  I call it “Priority One”.  He is the One I love with all my heart, mind, soul, and I never want that to change.  He is my number One Priority each day and everyday.  . . . . . and I don’t every want to forget to speak to Him daily.

I don’t want to take Him for granted. I want to show Him thankfulness for all He does for me, with me and to me.  I want to show Him love everyday, all day and even through the night.  When I show Him love and thankfulness, my mind will be focused on all the things that really matter in this life.

“Good morning, Lord!  I love you and thank you for this day! I submit my mind, will and emotions to Your handling this day and take on the mind of Christ that I may know Your will for me today! I desire to walk in the light and stay out of the darkness.  In Light, I know the promises You have made to  me and I will walk therein today. I will honor You with obedience to Your will and serve You.  Lord, You are my way, my truth, my life today and everyday.  You are my Priority One!   Amen”

Walk with ME….hello world

I spoke to a man who was so sure he was saved even though he doesn’t read his bible, because ‘ I don’t understand what I am reading’, he doesn’t go to church because, ‘I work all the time”, he doesn’t pray unless “I have a real problem and I can’t work it out myself.”  But his comment was:  ” I know I am saved because when I was seven years old, I joined the church and the feeling I got was so wonderful and it felt so good. I am a member of the church since I was 7 years old and I know and believe that I am saved because I remember the feeling.

He is now  53 years old.  When I asked him about his relationship with the Lord, his reply was, “I believe in God. I don’t read the bible because I don’t understand it, but I believe in God.”  When I asked him about his relationship with other Christian’s, his comment was, “I am not a people person. I don’t like being around people.  I don’t care about them. I believe in God and that is all that matters.”  When I asked him about lying to others, he replied, “sometimes you have to lie not to hurt someone or to get what you want.”

He compared himself with a woman I know who is living with a man she is not married too, who believes in God, goes to church, does not read her bible either and does not like people period.  She has no friends, only the man she lives with matters to her.  When he called her name and compared himself to her, I just listened quietly and thought….. Comparing yourself to other people is not God’s idea of comparison for life, living and pursuit of happiness.

God has a WORD for people:

Walking with Me is not a complex endeavor, my Child    Many people claim that I  make too many rules, or that I require too much of them.  But   what do I require of My children?  I made it clear through My prophet Micah.

I desire that My people act justly toward others—-being fair,  honest, filled with integrity.  That they love mercy and pass it along to everyone they meet.  And that they simply walk with Me, in humility and thankfulness for all I have done.

When My Son came, he said it another way:  He told His listeners to love Me with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love their neighbors as themselves.      Different words, same message.

Love Me.  Love Others.   Not complicated at all.

God does not require anything of unbelievers except they REPENT, agree with His Word about His Son;   Jesus died on the cross for sin, shed blood that you can have eternal life and ask Him to allow Jesus to come into their heart and make their lives pleasing to the Father.

Simple, yet direct to the point.  Hard? No, repenting is believing God and agreeing that you are a sinner in need of a savior and simply asking Him for One.   He already did everything necessary for you to get saved.

Repent, Ask, Believe…..

what more do you think you need to do?  He already done it all for you.

My Times In His Hand…hello world

I have been gone for a while…have been taking some time alone with Him…have been pondering the times we live in and how it is going out there for you, wondering if you are  feeling like we are living in a ‘wonderland’ of what is going to happen next…..

During this pondering-time, I have come to the conclusion that we are called for such a time as this.  I know my times are in His hand. All of us that have been born in 1948 and forward are in the last generation with the God of all times and all circumstances.   He has called us to be His servants  in this time and place and at just the right time and in the order to usher in change, hope or deliverance to those we come in contact with on a daily basis.

He has established us where we are today and has called us to this exact time, this exact place, these exact circumstances, all the situations we run into, every person we come in contact with is part of our purpose.   He knows our fears, He knows He can trust us and He knows that we will follow His Word and do it.   He is the promise that we must give to others, He is the peace that passes all understanding that we can provide as we are faithful to obey His very word to us to go and make disciples.

He who has called us is faithful to perform that for which He is sending us to do.  Seeing what God is doing and getting in there to be His hands,  His smile, His listening ear; we can know for certain that with God all things are possible and rest in the knowledge and the assurance that we have been called to such a time as this  and know that our times are in His hand.

We need, as I have come to understand, to rest in  God.  I mean REST in GOD!

Don’t do anything unless He tells you to do it and get busy when He speaks and DO IT! The doing will be easy and you will be at peace in the doing.  His work is His doing and He will give you the grace and the authority to do it.

Ester 4:14

Mission Impossible??…hello world

Do you feel like your life is a mission impossible?   Are you under attack from all sides?  Have you thought about giving up and charting a new course down another road?

Well,  STOP and let’s regroup, get our armour re-polished and straight, find our knee pads and come together as the army of God and pray without ceasing so we can find strength to keep on keeping on……Remember who your Commander-in-Chief is. . . . . . the Head-of-the-Family is calling all His Children to the front of the battle because the Battle is His to fight. He will go before us and He will lead us into VICTORY.

Do you remember the story of the wall around Jerusalem that had been broken down and burned and the stones were heavy, the work tiring, the enemies were not happy the people were returning to rebuild the wall and their lives?? The enemy will do everything possible to stop the work of the Lord from being done in the days we live in.

Today is no different from those days, loved One.  Today seems like ‘mission impossible’ to us because we are about the Lord’s Work.  Time is short and the enemy is fighting us tooth and nail to stop souls from leaving the kingdom of darkness and moving into the kingdom of light.  Nehemiah had to work with one hand, pray and watch and build with the other hand.  Don’t be discouraged, when you are about the Lord’s Work, He will help you accomplish what He has called you to build.  (DO)..

God does not fail.  He will accomplish the work in you and with your help the work ‘out there’ that needs to be done.  Souls are coming into the Kingdom daily and as we speak out the Word of light, He opens the door, whispers the ‘key’ to the kingdom into the ears of those who have ears to hear what the Spirit says to them……  Your job is to keep whispering…. “Jesus is the answer to all your questions.”

Mission Impossible?    No, Beloved Child of God….The mission has been won, I read the last chapter ——–  WE WIN!

God’s Path….hello world

As I try  to draw near to Father, I suddenly realized (again) that today is the first day of the rest of my life.  If I deliberately walk with Him daily, He will give me wisdom for  the path He has set down for me to walk.  But if I deliberately choose to go my own way, then He is not responsible for whatever  mess I get myself into.

It is my choice to go to Father with questions that come to mind; it is my choice to go to Father and consult with Him on the big things that pop up in my life; it is my choice to make my own plans apart from Him….and I have to remember, when I don’t consult, when I don’t ask questions, when I run ahead and do it ‘my way’, then I am responsible for the out come and can’t blame Him or anyone else for what mess is covering me in the ‘pig pen’.

SO – Today I run to Father and bow before Him not only to pray, but to worship and praise and give thanks that He has written my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life.         And He reminds me that He is going to show me the beautiful path He has marked out for me; He is teaching me to be like His second Child so that I don’t wonder off the path like His first child did and get deceived by the enemy.  He says to me, Draw near to Me, my child and read my Word and I will give you the desires of your heart as I form the image of my Son in your heart. I will set you upon the path I have marked out for you and keep you so that I don’t have to pick up the broken pieces and put you back together again. Let us walk together so that you can avoid the disasters of life, for I see the future, and I will keep you from the enemy if you will trust and obey.

Bless not Curse….hello world

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:  Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases…….Psalms 103:1-3

In a world that is cursing the Lord, cursing their family members, cursing their neighbors, cursing their children, cursing each other and cursing perfect strangers……how long do you think this can go on before the End comes?

The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity, there  is none that does good.  God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back;  they are altogether become filthy; there is none that does good, no not one.   Psalms 53: 1-4

You reap what you sow.  It is a law of nature and it is true of the good and evil.  So if you continue to curse, you will reap cursing…..if you bless another, you will reap blessing….

The meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace; the wicked plots against the just, and gnashed upon him with his teeth.              The Lord shall laugh at him, for he sees his day is coming…Ps 37: 11-13

Why don’t we wait patiently upon the Lord???.   You know that He will bring us up out of a horrible  pit and a miry clay and set our feet upon a ROCK and establish our goings?  He will put a new song in our mouth, even praise unto our God, and many will see it and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

Rejoice Children, Obedience brings rich blessing.  Read My Word, listen with the ears of Spirit… because My Word is full of power, it will give you power to hear it and to keep it and in the keeping it, you will be blessed.

Guidance…Hello World

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for guiding our lives and leading us at all times. Show us your way so that we might know your will. We ask you to be our vision, our eyes, our all.  You are our lamp, O Lord, and we are asking you to lead us beside still waters and for you to restore our soul. Show us your ways O Lord and teach us your path.  We will thank you for the knowledge of your will and ask  that you will guide us with judgment and you will teach us your ways.

Your Word promises  us Lord, that you always order the steps of a good person, and you delight in the way of a person who is following you. With all our heart, Father, We want to be the kind of person who brings joy and delight to your heart.

Send out your light and truth. Let them lead us.  You are our God forever and ever, you will be our guide even unto death. Your Word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path.  Cause us to know the way in which we should walk.  Attend unto our prayers, Father, as we incline  our ears to your Word.

You have given us your Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. Thank you for your guidance in our prayer unto you.  Lord, you see the situation and you know what is being asked.  Open our eyes to see Truth and help us to hear what the Spirit is saying about the situation.

In Jesus Name, we ask for guidance.

Pre-trib, Mid or Post?? hello world

A question was asked on a post   (My Dreams and Visions)  that I was reading.  The question was:  When do you think the rapture will happen, pre-trib, mid-trib or post trib?   As I pondered and prayed this answer came  to me so I posted it there.  After I thought about it for a while, I thought it was such a good answer, I would post it here on my blog.  Go read her blog  -it is good.
“My Dreams and Visions”

Excellent POST! We should not be worried about when we will go, but we should keep our eyes on the prize of the high calling of Jesus Christ. He died and shed His blood that we can have eternal life and we will go. Think about this: Enoch walked with God and He took him, Elijah walked with God and a whirl-wind took him, Jesus walked with God, and He died and went up in a cloud to Him. This could be a picture of Pre, Mid, Post….think about it…all could be correct. So don’t worry about when…just keep walking with God. He will do the rest!

Yes, Children, Keep walking with God and He will do the rest.

I am the Good Shepherd. I watch over you. I guide you along safe paths, across lush green pastures, to quiet waters where you can drink. I know when you need rest and I lead you to peaceful places where you can gain new strength. When you need help, I AM there. When you get lost, I come and find you. And when you walk through dark valleys , I AM right beside you, guiding, guarding, comforting you.    When I AM your Shepherd, you have everthing you need!!!!!!      HC   Psalms 23
