Bad day at the well….hello world

Have you ever had a bad day?  Or a worse day? How about a bad week, or bad month?

I have been having a bad day at the well for over a month and don’t know why?  I prayed about it. Today, I read my bible and sought the Lord for a reason to what is going on, but I have had no answers.

Today, I decided it is just a season of drought. You know, where the rain doesn’t fall for weeks on end.

Today I went to the well and let down the bucket to see if the water level was high or low. I wanted a cold drink of water, not a tepid or cool drink.  Today, I needed a icy cold, teeth chattering drink from the well. I wanted to meet with Jesus and receive a new revelation. I wanted  relief from the drought.

I have been writing a book and I wondered if the time the book takes me away from spending time with the Lord is causing the drought. A few minutes ago, when I ask the Lord, He gave me this answer:

Nothing takes you away from me. I AM in your heart and where ever you are I AM.  Whatever you are doing, I AM doing it with you. My holiness demands a separation from sin and evil. I do not partake in the sin and evil of this world. I AM silent when sin or evil is working in your flesh. When you repent of the sin you commit,  My love will rescue you. My children do not recognize the sin they commit sometimes because it is so easy to slip into something without recognizing what you are slipping into. In your case, My Child, you have neglected your prayer time and your reading time and your worship time with Me. In this neglect, you have slipped back into flesh-working out problems, instead of Spirit-led working out of your problems. Your tongue has flapped more with deceit than you care to admit. Repent and run quickly to My arms. I will deliver and rescue and put you back on the path I sat you on in the fist place. You have left your first love and I desire you back in My arms.

Lord, I repent and I run to you. Thank you for showing me my sin. Thank you for directing my path into your arms. Thank you for rescuing me and setting my feet on the narrow path and thank you for loving me.  I am over  my bad day at the well.  The water is COLD!  I am HOT!

Amen

Without Spot….hello world

How do you see yourself each day when you get up and look in the mirror? Do you see  someone who is laden with temptations of your old life? Some one who is  burdened with the battle of the bulge, some one who gets angry when people act dumb and stupid in your presence and what you really want to do is haul off and slap the stupid out of them?

Guess what?  God knows exactly how you feel, but He does not want you to act upon your impulses. He wants you to act like His Son Jesus and respond with His will and Word on the subject.

If you do fall off the wagon and hit the floor with a scream, Father will actually pick you up, dust you off and put  you back in the wagon along the path He has set for your life.  All He ask, is that you ask Him to forgive you and actually mean it.  Do you know that when He looks at you, He does not see you. He sees Jesus. Remember that time you said, “Father, forgive me of my sin.”  He took you for your word and did that. He let you exchange your sin for Christ’s One righteousness and you became the One He sees when He looks at you.  It is no longer you but Christ payment for your sin that He sees.

You are without spot before the Father if Christ has taken your sin and you have received His righteousness.  Simple exchange.

Does that make me free to sin?  Heaven forbid!  It makes Father free to keep you in the center of His will even though you don’t deserve to be kept. Sin should have no place in your life because He has given you power over sin and you don’t have to sin.

Sin is now a choice. If you willfully sin after Christ has taken your sin, you have no more sacrifice for sin and it falls squarely on your shoulders.  Remember that ole saying, “what goes around, comes around.”

Be careful to walk in righteousness, trust God for cleansing daily and seek first the kingdom… You don’t want to be caught  in the ‘comes around.’

Priority One…hello world

Today I got up in a hurry. Jumped out of bed. Ran downstairs. Ate my breakfast. Jumped into my house coat because it was too cool for running around in my P.J.’s. Brushed my teeth.  And while standing there looking at myself in the mirror, I heard the Lord say:

“Forgot to say ‘good morning Lord’, didn’t you?”

Yes, I did.  Every morning when I awake, I open my eyes and say, “Good Morning, Lord!” and have a conversational prayer before I get out of bed.  Today I just jumped.

Loving Father is my first priority.  I call it “Priority One”.  He is the One I love with all my heart, mind, soul, and I never want that to change.  He is my number One Priority each day and everyday.  . . . . . and I don’t every want to forget to speak to Him daily.

I don’t want to take Him for granted. I want to show Him thankfulness for all He does for me, with me and to me.  I want to show Him love everyday, all day and even through the night.  When I show Him love and thankfulness, my mind will be focused on all the things that really matter in this life.

“Good morning, Lord!  I love you and thank you for this day! I submit my mind, will and emotions to Your handling this day and take on the mind of Christ that I may know Your will for me today! I desire to walk in the light and stay out of the darkness.  In Light, I know the promises You have made to  me and I will walk therein today. I will honor You with obedience to Your will and serve You.  Lord, You are my way, my truth, my life today and everyday.  You are my Priority One!   Amen”

Walk with ME….hello world

I spoke to a man who was so sure he was saved even though he doesn’t read his bible, because ‘ I don’t understand what I am reading’, he doesn’t go to church because, ‘I work all the time”, he doesn’t pray unless “I have a real problem and I can’t work it out myself.”  But his comment was:  ” I know I am saved because when I was seven years old, I joined the church and the feeling I got was so wonderful and it felt so good. I am a member of the church since I was 7 years old and I know and believe that I am saved because I remember the feeling.

He is now  53 years old.  When I asked him about his relationship with the Lord, his reply was, “I believe in God. I don’t read the bible because I don’t understand it, but I believe in God.”  When I asked him about his relationship with other Christian’s, his comment was, “I am not a people person. I don’t like being around people.  I don’t care about them. I believe in God and that is all that matters.”  When I asked him about lying to others, he replied, “sometimes you have to lie not to hurt someone or to get what you want.”

He compared himself with a woman I know who is living with a man she is not married too, who believes in God, goes to church, does not read her bible either and does not like people period.  She has no friends, only the man she lives with matters to her.  When he called her name and compared himself to her, I just listened quietly and thought….. Comparing yourself to other people is not God’s idea of comparison for life, living and pursuit of happiness.

God has a WORD for people:

Walking with Me is not a complex endeavor, my Child    Many people claim that I  make too many rules, or that I require too much of them.  But   what do I require of My children?  I made it clear through My prophet Micah.

I desire that My people act justly toward others—-being fair,  honest, filled with integrity.  That they love mercy and pass it along to everyone they meet.  And that they simply walk with Me, in humility and thankfulness for all I have done.

When My Son came, he said it another way:  He told His listeners to love Me with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love their neighbors as themselves.      Different words, same message.

Love Me.  Love Others.   Not complicated at all.

God does not require anything of unbelievers except they REPENT, agree with His Word about His Son;   Jesus died on the cross for sin, shed blood that you can have eternal life and ask Him to allow Jesus to come into their heart and make their lives pleasing to the Father.

Simple, yet direct to the point.  Hard? No, repenting is believing God and agreeing that you are a sinner in need of a savior and simply asking Him for One.   He already did everything necessary for you to get saved.

Repent, Ask, Believe…..

what more do you think you need to do?  He already done it all for you.

Wonderful Made in His Image…hello world

Hi My Beloved Friend and Family:

I have a word of encouragement for you today.  Did you know that before the earth was formed that Abba Father knew you and me.  Even before the universe came into existence, Abba loved us.  Did you know that He has wonderfully made us in His image?

Did you know that He put all things in place and knit you into your mama’s womb and with a loving breath into your soul, He gave you direction.  He told your eyes to be colorful, He told your nose to grow beautifully, He gave you lips to whisper His name, He gave you intelligence to know Him personally when you grew  up.  He gave you His love, His Son, His peace and whispered gently into your tiny ear, “you are mine and you can choose Me when you grow up —- I will be thinking about you all the time, I will send angles to watch over you daily, I will watch you while you sleep and when you wake, I will be there waiting for you to notice Me. I will never forget about you even if you forget about Me.  I will stand quietly waiting for you to come to Me to receive My free gift.  I AM eagerly waiting for your call, inviting Me in, My Child.”

Abba Father, thank you for watching over us and loving us and being there.  I am so glad that you have heard my call and have written my name in Your “Lamb’s Book of Life.”     How about you?

Dreams….hello world

Dreams are important.  Some dreams are more important than others.  Some of my dreams have brought me wisdom and understanding of something that was going on in my life that I needed some clarity on.  Some dreams are just the product of the pizza snack just before bedtime.

However, some dreams stay on and linger in your mind and won’t let you go. These dreams are the ones I think you should pay attention to.  I just had one of those dreams lately and it won’t let me go.

Father hears my prayers and I know He desires the best in life for me.  I desire to know Him better and better each day as life goes on and I give Him my hopes and dreams and the longing to live a meaningful life here and now.  I ask Him to help me fulfill the purpose for my life that He has laid out for me and not to let me forget that it is He that has called me and will provide me with strength and ability to perform that for which He has called me too.

I have said more than once that  we need to see what God is doing and get in there and do it with Him.  We should not just jump ahead and run head long into a project we devise.  When God says come and join me and let’s enjoy this moment together, we should just DO IT.  We need to run into His arms and explore all the possibilities He provides for us to experience and know that He will keep us safe in them.

We should not just seize the day, but seize hold of Father and run hand in hand with Him where-so-ever He takes us – the dream will become an adventure and He will lead us beside still waters to the table set before our enemies in His presence.   Sin will stay far from us if we will just stay close to His Father heart.

Lord, help us to use our time wisely and to pursue you for our daily bread!

My Times In His Hand…hello world

I have been gone for a while…have been taking some time alone with Him…have been pondering the times we live in and how it is going out there for you, wondering if you are  feeling like we are living in a ‘wonderland’ of what is going to happen next…..

During this pondering-time, I have come to the conclusion that we are called for such a time as this.  I know my times are in His hand. All of us that have been born in 1948 and forward are in the last generation with the God of all times and all circumstances.   He has called us to be His servants  in this time and place and at just the right time and in the order to usher in change, hope or deliverance to those we come in contact with on a daily basis.

He has established us where we are today and has called us to this exact time, this exact place, these exact circumstances, all the situations we run into, every person we come in contact with is part of our purpose.   He knows our fears, He knows He can trust us and He knows that we will follow His Word and do it.   He is the promise that we must give to others, He is the peace that passes all understanding that we can provide as we are faithful to obey His very word to us to go and make disciples.

He who has called us is faithful to perform that for which He is sending us to do.  Seeing what God is doing and getting in there to be His hands,  His smile, His listening ear; we can know for certain that with God all things are possible and rest in the knowledge and the assurance that we have been called to such a time as this  and know that our times are in His hand.

We need, as I have come to understand, to rest in  God.  I mean REST in GOD!

Don’t do anything unless He tells you to do it and get busy when He speaks and DO IT! The doing will be easy and you will be at peace in the doing.  His work is His doing and He will give you the grace and the authority to do it.

Ester 4:14

Mission Impossible??…hello world

Do you feel like your life is a mission impossible?   Are you under attack from all sides?  Have you thought about giving up and charting a new course down another road?

Well,  STOP and let’s regroup, get our armour re-polished and straight, find our knee pads and come together as the army of God and pray without ceasing so we can find strength to keep on keeping on……Remember who your Commander-in-Chief is. . . . . . the Head-of-the-Family is calling all His Children to the front of the battle because the Battle is His to fight. He will go before us and He will lead us into VICTORY.

Do you remember the story of the wall around Jerusalem that had been broken down and burned and the stones were heavy, the work tiring, the enemies were not happy the people were returning to rebuild the wall and their lives?? The enemy will do everything possible to stop the work of the Lord from being done in the days we live in.

Today is no different from those days, loved One.  Today seems like ‘mission impossible’ to us because we are about the Lord’s Work.  Time is short and the enemy is fighting us tooth and nail to stop souls from leaving the kingdom of darkness and moving into the kingdom of light.  Nehemiah had to work with one hand, pray and watch and build with the other hand.  Don’t be discouraged, when you are about the Lord’s Work, He will help you accomplish what He has called you to build.  (DO)..

God does not fail.  He will accomplish the work in you and with your help the work ‘out there’ that needs to be done.  Souls are coming into the Kingdom daily and as we speak out the Word of light, He opens the door, whispers the ‘key’ to the kingdom into the ears of those who have ears to hear what the Spirit says to them……  Your job is to keep whispering…. “Jesus is the answer to all your questions.”

Mission Impossible?    No, Beloved Child of God….The mission has been won, I read the last chapter ——–  WE WIN!

Chosen…..hello world

God’s people must clothe themselves as His own picked representatives, His chosen  ones who should be purified and holy and well-beloved by God by putting on behavior marked by tender-hearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, gentle ways and patience— which is tireless, long-suffering and take  power to endure whatever comes, with good temper.  We are to be gentle and forbearing with each other and if  we  have a difference against each other; readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has freely forgiven us, so should we also forgive.

As the people of God we must put on love and enfold ourselves with the bond of perfectness —-which will bind us together in ideal harmony.  We are to let the peace from the Lord act as umpire continually in our hearts.  We need to be thankful, appreciative and give thanks and praise to the Lord daily..

As the body of Christ  we should let the Word spoken by Christ the Messiah have its home in our hearts and minds and dwell in us  in all richness, as we tech admonish and train each other in all insight, intelligence,  and wisdom in spiritual songs making melody to God our Father with grace in our hearts.  Everything we do  in word or deed we should do everything in the name of the Lord and in dependence upon His person giving praise to Father through Him.

Let us be example in this world that show the glory of God, the peace of God as we pray.

Wisdom for the Journey…

How does your day go?    Do you jump out of bed, rush to get dressed, grab a quick dry toast and cup of coffee and be running on down the road as quickly as possible to get to work?

Father said for all of us to come first thing in the morning to His presence and talk to Him.  He wants us to walk with Him along the ‘life-journey’ He has prepared for us and to get there, we have to go to Him first. If we remember to go to Him to ask Him for wisdom, direction, advice,  before making decision, He will help us to avoid some hazards along the way.

Sometimes we make plans and leave Him out of the equation. We run ahead without seeking His advice.  We jump off the cliff thinking it is a bump in the road and when we fall head long down the long dark tunnel, He will reach down and pick us up and put us back on the right path….sometimes it takes longer than others to get back on, because we fume and fight and blame Him for our big mess.

When we draw near to God and His Word, when we pray and seek His face, He will guide us along the green pastures, by the still waters, across the great divide and out on the right road.   He has the best plans for us….we just need His wisdom for the journey on a daily basis.

Think about it…..
