Walk with ME….hello world

I spoke to a man who was so sure he was saved even though he doesn’t read his bible, because ‘ I don’t understand what I am reading’, he doesn’t go to church because, ‘I work all the time”, he doesn’t pray unless “I have a real problem and I can’t work it out myself.”  But his comment was:  ” I know I am saved because when I was seven years old, I joined the church and the feeling I got was so wonderful and it felt so good. I am a member of the church since I was 7 years old and I know and believe that I am saved because I remember the feeling.

He is now  53 years old.  When I asked him about his relationship with the Lord, his reply was, “I believe in God. I don’t read the bible because I don’t understand it, but I believe in God.”  When I asked him about his relationship with other Christian’s, his comment was, “I am not a people person. I don’t like being around people.  I don’t care about them. I believe in God and that is all that matters.”  When I asked him about lying to others, he replied, “sometimes you have to lie not to hurt someone or to get what you want.”

He compared himself with a woman I know who is living with a man she is not married too, who believes in God, goes to church, does not read her bible either and does not like people period.  She has no friends, only the man she lives with matters to her.  When he called her name and compared himself to her, I just listened quietly and thought….. Comparing yourself to other people is not God’s idea of comparison for life, living and pursuit of happiness.

God has a WORD for people:

Walking with Me is not a complex endeavor, my Child    Many people claim that I  make too many rules, or that I require too much of them.  But   what do I require of My children?  I made it clear through My prophet Micah.

I desire that My people act justly toward others—-being fair,  honest, filled with integrity.  That they love mercy and pass it along to everyone they meet.  And that they simply walk with Me, in humility and thankfulness for all I have done.

When My Son came, he said it another way:  He told His listeners to love Me with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love their neighbors as themselves.      Different words, same message.

Love Me.  Love Others.   Not complicated at all.

God does not require anything of unbelievers except they REPENT, agree with His Word about His Son;   Jesus died on the cross for sin, shed blood that you can have eternal life and ask Him to allow Jesus to come into their heart and make their lives pleasing to the Father.

Simple, yet direct to the point.  Hard? No, repenting is believing God and agreeing that you are a sinner in need of a savior and simply asking Him for One.   He already did everything necessary for you to get saved.

Repent, Ask, Believe…..

what more do you think you need to do?  He already done it all for you.

Chosen…..hello world

God’s people must clothe themselves as His own picked representatives, His chosen  ones who should be purified and holy and well-beloved by God by putting on behavior marked by tender-hearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, gentle ways and patience— which is tireless, long-suffering and take  power to endure whatever comes, with good temper.  We are to be gentle and forbearing with each other and if  we  have a difference against each other; readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has freely forgiven us, so should we also forgive.

As the people of God we must put on love and enfold ourselves with the bond of perfectness —-which will bind us together in ideal harmony.  We are to let the peace from the Lord act as umpire continually in our hearts.  We need to be thankful, appreciative and give thanks and praise to the Lord daily..

As the body of Christ  we should let the Word spoken by Christ the Messiah have its home in our hearts and minds and dwell in us  in all richness, as we tech admonish and train each other in all insight, intelligence,  and wisdom in spiritual songs making melody to God our Father with grace in our hearts.  Everything we do  in word or deed we should do everything in the name of the Lord and in dependence upon His person giving praise to Father through Him.

Let us be example in this world that show the glory of God, the peace of God as we pray.

All Have Sinned….hello world

What does the word ALL mean?

The American Heritage Dictionary of English Words says it means:    1. the total entity or extent of  2.the entire or total number   3. the utmost possible   4. every  5.  any whatsoever  6.nothing but  ….

Well then, ALL  must mean everybody, good people, bad people, red, yellow, white and black people, the whole number of in totality have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.   That being true;  when you sin – it really does not make sense for you to try to hide from God what you have done, are doing or even what you are going to do.  God sees all, knows all and also knows what happened in the past, what is happening right now, and what is going to happen in the future.

THAT being true, would it not make sense to just tell God exactly what you are feeling and what you think about it and open the door and admit your part in it and let Him start the process of forgiveness so your slate does not get overcome with more than you can handle?  Do you remember when Adam and Eve sinned and hid themselves from God?   Were they really hidden?  Of course not, God knew exactly where they were, but He asked them anyway, just to see it they knew where they were;

“Where art thou?”  God asked.

“I heard your voice in the garden, I was afraid, I was naked, I hid myself,” the man answered.

Then, like many of us, he puts the blame on someone else……the woman, you gave me, she gave me and I did……   He put the blame on 1. the woman, 2. God, 3. the woman, before he admitted he did anything.

The woman didn’t do much better:  she blames the serpent and then admits what she did.  She didn’t blame God or Adam, but she did blame the serpent before she admits what she did.

I am a very wondering person and I wonder what would have happened if when God asked Adam, ‘ Where art thou?’ if Adam had said, “Here Lord, hiding from your view because I have done that which you bid me not do. I repent, cleanse me O Lord and renew in me a right heart!”     What do you think God would have done?

Quick to repent or quick to blame others?    All have sinned and come short of the glory of God……

Equally Guilty…Hello World

Equally Guilty

This is a conversation that I heard recently:

“You don’t know what you are talking about, the Roman’s killed the Christ.  When they beat him and hung him on the cross, they were and are responsible for his death!”

“Liar, liar! The Jew’s are the one’s who killed Jesus!  They  had him arrested, mock trial and turned him over to the Romans to crucify! You don’t know a thing about it!”

Equally angry, equally blaming the other for the death of Jesus Christ and equally wrong.

Let us look at why they are both equally wrong.

The Roman’s are gentiles.  They are not Jews. They were the government in control of the land and the people who lived there. They were the one’s who carried out the Law and if you broke it – you paid with a flogging, scourging, beating, and if it was bad enough, they would crucify you by nailing you to a cross and letting you hang there until you died and then leave you there till the birds and wild animals picked your bones clean. Bad way to die.

The Jews were the folks who lived under Roman Government. Along with other nationalities and all were to obey the Law of Rome. The Jewish Rabbi’s taught the people, told the people what to believe, how to follow the law and  when to do it. They told the people to do whatever the Romans said and keep quiet.

Jesus was born of a virgin, baptised by John and preached the gospel to the Jews first and then to the gentile.

Isaiah 53 says:    Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?  For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground; he has no form, nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid our faces from him, he was despised and we esteemed  him not.  Surely,  he  has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him  and with his stripes we are  healed. All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.

So, WHO is to blame for the death of Jesus?     BOTH- Gentile and Jew.  And neither one killed him because:

John 10:14    I AM the good shepherd: and know my sheep and am known of  mine. As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father and I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR THE SHEEP   (Jews)..And other sheep (Gentiles) I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring and they shall hear my voice and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.  Therefore, does my Father love me, because I lay down my life that I might take it again.  NO MAN takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it up again.  This COMMANDMENT have I received of my Father.

Our (Jew, Gentile, red, yellow, black or white) sin is responsible for His death.  He willingly lay down His Life so we could be forgiven of all our sin.  It is a faith-thing.  All that happened was orchestrated by the Father and the Son so that His Children could come home by faith, by grace by the blood of Jesus.

All are equally guilty of the death of Jesus.  Because All have sinned.

Who killed Jesus?   Sin.  All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Who died?         Jesus. Because He loves you, and the Father loves you

It is time to FAITH-IT.   Believe on the Lord Jesus and what He did for you and you shall be saved.  You don’t have to work for it.  You just have to believe it……..It is finished.

Hello World…Believing Unbeliever

I was reading a wonderful post on believers living up to and doing what they believe God’s Word says. I was also having a conversation with a dear to my heart person in my life who asked me this question; “Why do you use the phrase, ‘believing unbeliever’?

My answer was:   There are so many people in this world who say they believe, but they don’t DO what they say they believe.  They use their will against God’s will and do their will and live by what they ‘will’  to happen in their lives and leave God completely out of the picture even though they say, “Oh, yea! I believe the bible.  I believe in God. I believe in tithing.  I believe you should do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”  But when the trial comes, they balk and start hollering all this gibberish about, “Yea, I know what the bible says, BUT…..   I know what I should do about tithing, BUT…….     I believe in God, BUT …….. I know I should treat him/her/them better, BUT……..

A relative of mine who goes to Church every Sunday morning….and  Wednesday night to eat because the meal is only $2.00, never reads the bible, ‘can’t understand what it say’ is the excuse, told me she didn’t care what the bible says about living with a man she is not married to and does not intend to marry – he is just a convenience to have someone to go eat with, dance with, sit beside her in church so ‘she isn’t there by herself’.  I saw her get angry at a woman and cuss her out over a slight toward her while she was shopping, and she gives a dollar in the plate every Sunday morning…ooopps, one Sunday she gave 2.00.  .  .  .  and she has millions in the bank.   This is the picture of a believing unbeliever.  I am not judging her, there are millions of people just like her and they all think they are believers…..Wake up people!  You are just like satan who fell from heaven because of his I WILL HAVE IT MY WAY!

God does not save you to have it your way.  Only Burger King allows that.  God saves you so you can come back into relationship with Him and have abundant life that will keep you centered in God’s Will.  You repent and give your will to God and He gives you eternal life. More than a fair trade.  You repent and confess you are a sinner, He gives you eternal life later and abundant life now.  What do you have to give up?  Suffering, sin, selfishness to name a few things.   I actually didn’t give up anything.  God made me so happy, I just turned my life over to Him and told Him, What ever you want from me,  You show/tell me what you want me to do, You help me do it and I  will gladly DO  it.  He said “read MY WORD and I will guide you!” Every morning He gives me a fresh start. He tells me to come and drink from the well of belief and faith. He told me that even when I do wrong, He still here for me….Just come and talk to Him..He wants me to tell Him everything that is on my heart.  (He already knows it anyway).   So if I just talk it out with Him, we can work it out together  and deal with whatever takes place.

When I sin or do something wrong, it bothers me and when I tell Him all about it and confess it, He makes me feel better and I know He understands and will help me not to go in that path again.  When I confess and repent, I am forgiven and it is forgotten. He does not hold it against me. He teaches me what to do next time so I don’t do it again.  He heals my broken heart, He heals my mind and my emotions and He makes me clean. I like clean better than dirty.  I like the fresh start. In the beginning it wasn’t as easy as it is now, but the older I get and the more I trust Him – the easier it gets.    Worship is exciting, reading the Word is exciting, praying is exciting and sometimes I am overwhelmed by His mercy and grace.  I am also very thankful for His ever forgiving heart toward this Child.

One day I was just worshiping Him and suddenly I felt this loving  tug on my heart and I heard Him say, “My sweet adorable cheerleader. I love the way you worship Me in truth and Spirit.”…… and I began to shout my love to Him.  I felt wave after wave of the most loving feelings I think I have ever known.  When He touches you, you know it.  Rejoice and be glad!

Hello World…Enter into Rest

This old world is full of angry, unhappy, selfish and dissatisfied people.  ” WHY”  I asked, “are so many people so unhappy in this old world?????”   I went to the old Testament and read for a while and this is the conclusion I have come to.

In the Old Testament, I found that Adam and Eve were disobedient,  Pharaoh was disobedient,  the Israelites were disobedient, the people in Noah’s day were disobedient, King Saul was disobedient, Jonah was disobedient, a lot of other’s were disobedient and then I went to the New Testament and found the Jews, Gentiles, children, parents, foolish men were disobedient and that seemed to be   the reason they were so angry, unhappy, and dissatisfied.

So I looked up the word:  Disobedience and it said:   The condition or fact of not obeying:  insubordination.

Then I found this message from the Lord in Biblical Principals to Defeat the Devil by John Eckhardt.  It said:  Well, I can’t tell you what it said because it has a copyright on the word from the Lord……strange that someone would copyright a word from the Lord but that is what the book said.  So I will give you what the Lord said to me and it isn’t copyrighted.

Children,   I have given you an instruction book that has My will for your happiness laid out with no holds barred.  It tells the good, the bad and the ugly of good people, bad people and ugly folks.  When I say ugly, I mean the disposition they get up with in the morning because they don’t know Me.   When an unbeliever wakes up in the morning, they never speak to Me, they don’t even take thought of what the day will bring with or without Me. They kick the dog going out the door, scream at their children because the child spilled milk, curse the car in front of them and yell at people who can’t hear them in another car.  The bad;  just don’t obey Me or incline their hearts toward Me because they choose to run their own lives at the expense of everyone around them. They don’t have love for themselves or anyone else. They hurt themselves and anyone who gets in their way and cause untold  havoc around their lives and others lives. They are conformed to the weed,  and drink themselves to sleep at night, hurting others as they go.  The good;  they try hard and do good most of the time. They want to live right, do right, think right, and sometimes they succeed on their own steam, but they are not  happy cause it is really hard trying to be good without My help. You can’t enter my rest until you come to My Son and believe He did all there is to be done to open the door to heaven so you can come into that rest I have for you.   I have told many times that you can’t work your way, you can not earn your way, you can not do anything but believe, repent and receive what I have already done for you.   It isn’t that difficult to enter into My rest.  I made it easy and My burden is light.  David said it all when he told you that the Lord is your shepherd, you don’t have to want for I will make you to lie down in green pastures, I will lead you beside still waters, I will restore your soul, I will guide you in the paths of righteousness for My name’s sake. When you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no evil, for I will be with you.  My rod and My staff they will comfort you. I will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies; I will anoint your head with oil and your cup will run over. My goodness and loving-kindness shall follow you all the days of your life and you shall dwell in my house for eternity. I have prepared everything you need to enter into My rest.  Just come as you are. Ask Me.  Seek Me.  Knock at My door.  You are welcome just as you are. I will change your clothes, I will wash you white as snow, I will bring you into My rest.. Come and see.

I told you He is wonderful, didn’t I?…..Glory to His Name..

Hello World….Gift God part 4

Luke 11:1   And it came to pass, that  as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of the disciples said unto Him, ‘Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples,’   and He said unto them,    “When you pray, say, Our Father, which is in heaven hallowed be thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.   Give us  day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins: for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.”

Matthew 6:5   And when you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites are; for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that  they may be seen of men.  Verily, I say unto you,  they have their reward.  But you, when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut the door, pray to the Father which is in secret; and the Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly   But when you pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heather do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.  Be not yourself therefore like unto them; for your Father knows what things you have need of before you ask him.

Luke 1:9  And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you,   seek, and you shall find;   knock, and it shall be opened unto  you.

Luke 18:9   is an example of deception of these last days. It is an example of how people will be and how they will be deceived in the face of My example in My Son Jesus.  My Son spoke this parable to his disciples as He was teaching them and today many read over this and do not see themselves in the picture   He painted of deception within the heart. Let us read this together:      And He spoke this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: . . . .      Before we go on, look at who My Son spoke to;  ‘those who trusted….’   The first part of this deception is they believe they trust is God, but they actually trust in themselves.  By their belief they prayed, by their belief they fasted, by their belief they gave the tithe but they had no LOVE in themselves  for  anyone but themselves. Their love consisted of what was good for them and how they perceived themselves in their own eyes.        Two men went up to into the Temple to pray:  the one a Pharisee and the other a publican.   Here is a comparison between two then in the temple praying:  The one is a Pharisee,  a religious man.  How does he pray?         Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, “God, I thank you, that I am not as other men are, extortionist, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.”

He prayed thus with himself, his prayer was directed by his thought and intents within himself of what he thought of himself.  He was self-righteous. He held himself up against the law. He compared himself with other men and saw himself as better and more righteous than those around him.  As far as he was concerned he could declare, “I am not as other men are.” As far as he was concerned he did not sin. He didn’t take money from others, he was not unjust to others, he didn’t commit  adultery and he didn’t act like the publican right next to him.  He was justified in his own eyes by his own actions. He kept the law.

But he didn’t stop there. He went on to say, “I fast twice in the week.  I give tithes of all that I possess.’   He was denying himself food two times a week and he was giving a 10th of his possessions, but never giving of himself. He gave so that others could see his giving. He fasted that others would know that he was fasting.

Are you doing the things you do that others may see you do them?   Or are you doing everything you do as unto Me, your Creator, Lord and Savior?  Your reward will depend on why you are doing the things you do.

Let us look at the Publican.   ‘And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, “God be merciful to me a sinner.”     He was calling on God and asking that God be merciful to him, a sinner.

I desire a humble and contrite heart.  That heart is one that can be molded and mended and made like unto My Son. I desire that My Child be one who looks to Me for his daily bread and comes to Me with his hearts desires and needs to be met. For I shall meet all your needs through Christ Jesus, My Son.  If you are not looking to Me to  meet your needs, they you are not dependent upon Me for anything. You are doing it, meeting your own selfish needs through what you are able to do yourself.  Continue in that deceitful way and you will meet the enemy of your soul face to face, but it will be too late then.  Now is the day of salvation.

To be continued tomorrow……..

Hello World…. Ezekiel 33:1-6

Let us consider the words of Ezekiel 33:1-6. “And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, ‘Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to them, “If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their *watchman, and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows on the trumpet and warns the people, then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman’s hand

Consider this……A watchman on the wall gives warning and nobody heeds the warning….He gives the warning again and again and still people do not heed the warning, then that one who does not heed the warning given to  him is responsible for whatever happens to him and the watchman is free from that man’s blood…. Several years ago, I was making a comment on the internet chat room I was in, when a Rabbi from Israel asked for a special private chat with me.  He told me that what I was sharing should be kept quite at that time for it was not to be until right before the Messiah was to return and he wanted to know how I knew what I was sharing…. I explained that I had been in prayer and the Lord had spoken to my heart and told me that message and that I should tell those who would listen so they could get ready.   He then explained to me that what I was sharing was prophecy that would take place right before the Messiah returned to Israel and the name of the person I had spoken about would be in office at the time I was telling them about, but it was not yet ready to happen so I should keep silent until the time and not to use that name on the internet when sharing the prophecy.  I told him the Lord had told me to share it tonight and I didn’t think I was doing wrong, but if he felt that I was, I would hold it close to my heart and wait.  He said I would know the right time to share the prophecy in the future. . . . .  and it would be when that name was Prime Minister of Israel in the future.

Well, that name is Prime Minister  in Israel at this time and tonight Father brought the prophecy back to my mind and gave me the scripture about being a watchman and to give this warning to all whosoever would have ears to hear what the Spirit is speaking…..

Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound the alarm in my holy mountain; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of Jehovah comes, for it is nigh at hand; a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, as the dawn spread upon the mountains; a great people and a strong; there has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after them, even to the years of many generations.   A fire devours before them; and behind them a flame burns; the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and none has escaped them. The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses and as horsemen  so do they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of the mountains do they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. At their presence the peoples are in anguish; all faces are waxed pale. They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like men of war; and they march every one on his ways and they break not their ranks. Neither does one thrust another,  they march every one in his path and they break not off their course….. they leap upon the city,  they run upon the wall; they climb up into the houses; the enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth quakes before them; the heavens tremble; the sun and the moon are darkened and the stars withdraw their shining…. And Jehovah utters his voice before His army; for His camp is very great; for He is strong that executeth His Word; for the day of Jehovah is great and very terrible and who can abide  it?….yet even now, saith Jehovah, turn you unto Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto Jehovah your God; for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and repenteth him of the evil. Who knows whether He will not turn and repent and leave a blessing behind him, even a meal-offerning and a drink-offering unto Jehovah your God? ………..at the time of the Coming of the Great and Mighty God, the ‘Son of My Right Hand’ shall lead Israel to victory but the people must fast, pray and turn to the Almighty God of Israel.  There is only One God and His name is    I  AM.   Repent, fast and pray for the time is at hand and He comes soon…….

Hello World…Word of Knowledge…

I have been studying the Word of Wisdom and the Word of Knowledge and guess what I have learned……

………….something I already knew but had lost sight of recently.  Wisdom is what Jesus is in us and without Him we can not receive Knowledge of the Mystery of God.  That is why so many people are lost and so many are turning away from the Lord.  Oh, you say, I would not turn away from the Lord.   Really?  That is what a close friend told me several years ago and now she does not go to church, she rarely ever reads her bible and we never pray together anymore like we use too.  She told me she is just too busy to go to church, and she only has that day to sleep in and rest.   “Well, you can sleep in and rest on Saturday,” I said… ‘but we have so much to get done on Saturday and I am just exhausted when I go to bed at midnight and it is just too early to get up to go to church at 11:00 a.m.’ she replied. That is ridiculous, I wanted to say back but just kept my mouth shut.  Why argue with stupid stuff?

I wanted to shake her and tell her that what ever it is that is keeping her too busy to spend time with the Lord is a devil and ‘he’ was slowly taking her away from the only One who could give her rest and real sleep. . . . . . . and there is coming a time when you will wish you had spent time with Him and heard His voice.  My cousin has fallen into the same rut… and she is angry with the world around her.  They both need to repent and call on Him who hold the keys to death and hell in His hands and who can renew in them a right spirit.

Wisdom is the ability to apply what God gives you in your life to make it pleasing to Him and knowledge is what He gives you so you can do it.  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me……so can they and so can you…

Just do it!

Hello World…. A. J. Tozer said….

What is God trying to do with His believing people?-the Bible calls us a remnant according to grace, believers taken out of the great, teeming swarm of so-called religious people in today’s world. I am inclined to join others in wondering if the Lord is postponing His coming because He is trying to get His Bride ready? For years it has been the popular idea in evangelical Christianity that the whole body of believers in Christ would rise like a flock of frightened birds when the Lord comes. But A.B. Simpson and William MacArthur and others in the past generation said, “Oh no! The Lord will take with Him those who are prepared and ready for His coming!” I do not presume to give an answer satisfying to everyone in our churches. But I know that many Christians are too smug about this, saying in effect: “I am converted to Christ through grace, so I can live as I please!” Of some things we cannot be dogmatic; but we know this for sure-God has no halfway house between heaven and hell where He takes us to fumigate us!

I think that is a great quote….. If you are not ready, repent so you don’t have to wonder if you have to be fumigated
