Walk with ME….hello world

I spoke to a man who was so sure he was saved even though he doesn’t read his bible, because ‘ I don’t understand what I am reading’, he doesn’t go to church because, ‘I work all the time”, he doesn’t pray unless “I have a real problem and I can’t work it out myself.”  But his comment was:  ” I know I am saved because when I was seven years old, I joined the church and the feeling I got was so wonderful and it felt so good. I am a member of the church since I was 7 years old and I know and believe that I am saved because I remember the feeling.

He is now  53 years old.  When I asked him about his relationship with the Lord, his reply was, “I believe in God. I don’t read the bible because I don’t understand it, but I believe in God.”  When I asked him about his relationship with other Christian’s, his comment was, “I am not a people person. I don’t like being around people.  I don’t care about them. I believe in God and that is all that matters.”  When I asked him about lying to others, he replied, “sometimes you have to lie not to hurt someone or to get what you want.”

He compared himself with a woman I know who is living with a man she is not married too, who believes in God, goes to church, does not read her bible either and does not like people period.  She has no friends, only the man she lives with matters to her.  When he called her name and compared himself to her, I just listened quietly and thought….. Comparing yourself to other people is not God’s idea of comparison for life, living and pursuit of happiness.

God has a WORD for people:

Walking with Me is not a complex endeavor, my Child    Many people claim that I  make too many rules, or that I require too much of them.  But   what do I require of My children?  I made it clear through My prophet Micah.

I desire that My people act justly toward others—-being fair,  honest, filled with integrity.  That they love mercy and pass it along to everyone they meet.  And that they simply walk with Me, in humility and thankfulness for all I have done.

When My Son came, he said it another way:  He told His listeners to love Me with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love their neighbors as themselves.      Different words, same message.

Love Me.  Love Others.   Not complicated at all.

God does not require anything of unbelievers except they REPENT, agree with His Word about His Son;   Jesus died on the cross for sin, shed blood that you can have eternal life and ask Him to allow Jesus to come into their heart and make their lives pleasing to the Father.

Simple, yet direct to the point.  Hard? No, repenting is believing God and agreeing that you are a sinner in need of a savior and simply asking Him for One.   He already did everything necessary for you to get saved.

Repent, Ask, Believe…..

what more do you think you need to do?  He already done it all for you.

My Times In His Hand…hello world

I have been gone for a while…have been taking some time alone with Him…have been pondering the times we live in and how it is going out there for you, wondering if you are  feeling like we are living in a ‘wonderland’ of what is going to happen next…..

During this pondering-time, I have come to the conclusion that we are called for such a time as this.  I know my times are in His hand. All of us that have been born in 1948 and forward are in the last generation with the God of all times and all circumstances.   He has called us to be His servants  in this time and place and at just the right time and in the order to usher in change, hope or deliverance to those we come in contact with on a daily basis.

He has established us where we are today and has called us to this exact time, this exact place, these exact circumstances, all the situations we run into, every person we come in contact with is part of our purpose.   He knows our fears, He knows He can trust us and He knows that we will follow His Word and do it.   He is the promise that we must give to others, He is the peace that passes all understanding that we can provide as we are faithful to obey His very word to us to go and make disciples.

He who has called us is faithful to perform that for which He is sending us to do.  Seeing what God is doing and getting in there to be His hands,  His smile, His listening ear; we can know for certain that with God all things are possible and rest in the knowledge and the assurance that we have been called to such a time as this  and know that our times are in His hand.

We need, as I have come to understand, to rest in  God.  I mean REST in GOD!

Don’t do anything unless He tells you to do it and get busy when He speaks and DO IT! The doing will be easy and you will be at peace in the doing.  His work is His doing and He will give you the grace and the authority to do it.

Ester 4:14

Mission Impossible??…hello world

Do you feel like your life is a mission impossible?   Are you under attack from all sides?  Have you thought about giving up and charting a new course down another road?

Well,  STOP and let’s regroup, get our armour re-polished and straight, find our knee pads and come together as the army of God and pray without ceasing so we can find strength to keep on keeping on……Remember who your Commander-in-Chief is. . . . . . the Head-of-the-Family is calling all His Children to the front of the battle because the Battle is His to fight. He will go before us and He will lead us into VICTORY.

Do you remember the story of the wall around Jerusalem that had been broken down and burned and the stones were heavy, the work tiring, the enemies were not happy the people were returning to rebuild the wall and their lives?? The enemy will do everything possible to stop the work of the Lord from being done in the days we live in.

Today is no different from those days, loved One.  Today seems like ‘mission impossible’ to us because we are about the Lord’s Work.  Time is short and the enemy is fighting us tooth and nail to stop souls from leaving the kingdom of darkness and moving into the kingdom of light.  Nehemiah had to work with one hand, pray and watch and build with the other hand.  Don’t be discouraged, when you are about the Lord’s Work, He will help you accomplish what He has called you to build.  (DO)..

God does not fail.  He will accomplish the work in you and with your help the work ‘out there’ that needs to be done.  Souls are coming into the Kingdom daily and as we speak out the Word of light, He opens the door, whispers the ‘key’ to the kingdom into the ears of those who have ears to hear what the Spirit says to them……  Your job is to keep whispering…. “Jesus is the answer to all your questions.”

Mission Impossible?    No, Beloved Child of God….The mission has been won, I read the last chapter ——–  WE WIN!

God’s Path….hello world

As I try  to draw near to Father, I suddenly realized (again) that today is the first day of the rest of my life.  If I deliberately walk with Him daily, He will give me wisdom for  the path He has set down for me to walk.  But if I deliberately choose to go my own way, then He is not responsible for whatever  mess I get myself into.

It is my choice to go to Father with questions that come to mind; it is my choice to go to Father and consult with Him on the big things that pop up in my life; it is my choice to make my own plans apart from Him….and I have to remember, when I don’t consult, when I don’t ask questions, when I run ahead and do it ‘my way’, then I am responsible for the out come and can’t blame Him or anyone else for what mess is covering me in the ‘pig pen’.

SO – Today I run to Father and bow before Him not only to pray, but to worship and praise and give thanks that He has written my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life.         And He reminds me that He is going to show me the beautiful path He has marked out for me; He is teaching me to be like His second Child so that I don’t wonder off the path like His first child did and get deceived by the enemy.  He says to me, Draw near to Me, my child and read my Word and I will give you the desires of your heart as I form the image of my Son in your heart. I will set you upon the path I have marked out for you and keep you so that I don’t have to pick up the broken pieces and put you back together again. Let us walk together so that you can avoid the disasters of life, for I see the future, and I will keep you from the enemy if you will trust and obey.

Bless not Curse….hello world

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:  Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases…….Psalms 103:1-3

In a world that is cursing the Lord, cursing their family members, cursing their neighbors, cursing their children, cursing each other and cursing perfect strangers……how long do you think this can go on before the End comes?

The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity, there  is none that does good.  God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back;  they are altogether become filthy; there is none that does good, no not one.   Psalms 53: 1-4

You reap what you sow.  It is a law of nature and it is true of the good and evil.  So if you continue to curse, you will reap cursing…..if you bless another, you will reap blessing….

The meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace; the wicked plots against the just, and gnashed upon him with his teeth.              The Lord shall laugh at him, for he sees his day is coming…Ps 37: 11-13

Why don’t we wait patiently upon the Lord???.   You know that He will bring us up out of a horrible  pit and a miry clay and set our feet upon a ROCK and establish our goings?  He will put a new song in our mouth, even praise unto our God, and many will see it and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

Rejoice Children, Obedience brings rich blessing.  Read My Word, listen with the ears of Spirit… because My Word is full of power, it will give you power to hear it and to keep it and in the keeping it, you will be blessed.

Equally Guilty…Hello World

Equally Guilty

This is a conversation that I heard recently:

“You don’t know what you are talking about, the Roman’s killed the Christ.  When they beat him and hung him on the cross, they were and are responsible for his death!”

“Liar, liar! The Jew’s are the one’s who killed Jesus!  They  had him arrested, mock trial and turned him over to the Romans to crucify! You don’t know a thing about it!”

Equally angry, equally blaming the other for the death of Jesus Christ and equally wrong.

Let us look at why they are both equally wrong.

The Roman’s are gentiles.  They are not Jews. They were the government in control of the land and the people who lived there. They were the one’s who carried out the Law and if you broke it – you paid with a flogging, scourging, beating, and if it was bad enough, they would crucify you by nailing you to a cross and letting you hang there until you died and then leave you there till the birds and wild animals picked your bones clean. Bad way to die.

The Jews were the folks who lived under Roman Government. Along with other nationalities and all were to obey the Law of Rome. The Jewish Rabbi’s taught the people, told the people what to believe, how to follow the law and  when to do it. They told the people to do whatever the Romans said and keep quiet.

Jesus was born of a virgin, baptised by John and preached the gospel to the Jews first and then to the gentile.

Isaiah 53 says:    Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?  For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground; he has no form, nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid our faces from him, he was despised and we esteemed  him not.  Surely,  he  has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him  and with his stripes we are  healed. All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.

So, WHO is to blame for the death of Jesus?     BOTH- Gentile and Jew.  And neither one killed him because:

John 10:14    I AM the good shepherd: and know my sheep and am known of  mine. As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father and I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR THE SHEEP   (Jews)..And other sheep (Gentiles) I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring and they shall hear my voice and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.  Therefore, does my Father love me, because I lay down my life that I might take it again.  NO MAN takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it up again.  This COMMANDMENT have I received of my Father.

Our (Jew, Gentile, red, yellow, black or white) sin is responsible for His death.  He willingly lay down His Life so we could be forgiven of all our sin.  It is a faith-thing.  All that happened was orchestrated by the Father and the Son so that His Children could come home by faith, by grace by the blood of Jesus.

All are equally guilty of the death of Jesus.  Because All have sinned.

Who killed Jesus?   Sin.  All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Who died?         Jesus. Because He loves you, and the Father loves you

It is time to FAITH-IT.   Believe on the Lord Jesus and what He did for you and you shall be saved.  You don’t have to work for it.  You just have to believe it……..It is finished.

Are You Ready?…Hello World

I was talking to a friend of mine this evening and he told me about a vision he had. He said that the Lord had spoken to him about what was coming and that he should be watching, praying  and paying attention because things were about to speed up dramatically in this old world.  My friend living in North Carolina called me early this morning and told me that the Pope was resigning at the end of this month and that prophecy was being fulfilled and I needed to watch what happened next because things were speeding up in the prophetic world around us.  I was reading about the blood moons and the total eclipse that is going to take place next year and I thought:    The Children of God need to wake up and begin to pay attention because time is short.

What am I talking about when I say blood moons?

Well, NASA has said that on April 15, 2014  and Oct. 8 2014 there will be blood moons.  The moon will turn red in color because of solar eclipses.  Again, April 4, 2015 and Sept. 28, 2015 it will happen again.  Right in the middle of all this there will be a total solar eclipse of the sun on March 20, 21, 2015 when the sun will be darkened.  Again on March 9, 2016 the sun will be darkened in a total eclipse.  This won’t happen again for 500 years.

What does that have to do with prophecy?     Actually a lot.  In Joel 2:31  it states the sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood,  BEFORE the great and terrible day of the Lord come.

Another strange thing about all this is; along with the signs in the sun, moon, and stars, we are seeing massive floods, snow storms, earthquakes, volcanos, diseases, animals dying, birds dropping dead in  the sky, droughts, heatwaves, wars and rumors of wars, fires, pestilences, chips for the masses, iniquity abounding in every nation.  TBN claims the gospel has been preached in every nation around the world.

What if, let just say, what if this is the time the bible was speaking about and we are entering into the end of the age, ARE YOU READY?

I heard you ask, Ready for what, and I am going to speak to that question.  Are you ready to meet the Lord face to face?  Are you ready for the test that is coming upon the whole world?  Do you know the answer to the question when asked?

Chapter 25 of Matthew states:

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto 10 virgins which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom. and 5 of them were wise and 5 were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them. But the wise took oil in their vessels with them. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. and the foolish said unto the wise, give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered saying, Not so, lest there be not enough for us and you, but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and they that were READY went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

That is what I am talking about…. Are you Ready?

Faith Rest In God..Hello World

There remains therefore a rest to the people of God   Heb. 4:9

Our daily prayer to God should be “Thank you God for your wonderful Word which teaches me how to enter into your wonderful rest and thank you for your spiritual rest that you promised to your children if they will love you, obey you and believe your Word.”  and then DO IT.

Many times we read His Word and get up and go away and forget what we just read.  We ignore the promises He gives us in His Word and ignore the wisdom and faith growth He wants to bestow on us as we get busy in the ways of world…..we have shopping of groceries, clothing for the kids, clothing for ourselves, appointments, work schedules, family dinners to cook, houses to clean and so on and so on.  We totally ignore the invitation from Jesus to come to Him when we are heavy laden, when we are weary and tired of the ‘daily dump’ that keeps on keeping on, and take on His yoke and learn of Him. In our Father, we can rest our soul in Jesus for His burden is light and His yoke is easy.

We need to take our worries and fears and anything that disturbs our peace to the Lord asking Him in prayer and giving thanks knowing that He will take these from us and give us His peace and rest.  We can have His peace and His rest by entering into His faith as He keeps our heart and mind stayed upon Him.  Cast all of your care upon Him because He cares for you.

Father will give you joy of the Lord to be your strength and you can over come anything as you rest in the Holy Spirit.  Have you ever wondered why the Spirit is called ‘Holy’?   Consider this:   God is Spirit, Jesus is God manifest in  the flesh…..God is Holy, Jesus is Holy and He, giving you His Spirit, makes you Holy.  Resting in the Holy Spirit relieves you of all worries, fears and anything that disturbs flesh.

Faith rest in God.  Try resting daily and see what happen in your life.

God bless you and may He give His angels charge over you daily!
Love, J

Hello World….Termites

Dealing with termites is a problem.  Or maybe I should say that dealing with unforgiveness is like dealing with termites.

Termites are not noticeable at first.  Termites eat away at your home and in the beginning you don’t notice that they are damaging the foundation of your home.  Here a little, there a little; everything seems to be OK.   But if you don’t deal with the problem, they can eat away your entire foundation and you will be living in a situation that will cost you your entire life savings and more…..

The same goes for problems in your life that have festered into serious unforgiveness toward folks that have hurt you.  The past, present and future happiness can be wiped out just by letting a moment of unforgiveness turn into a life-time of pain, anger and hurt.  When you let anger turn to bitterness, it takes on resentment and you begin this downward spiral to hatred which can lead to murder. Keep it up and you could spend your life in jail…..

God does not want us to wallow in the past or the present. He wants to give us a future that is filled with joy, peace and happiness that is called abundant life.  If we get bogged down by some stupid mistake we made or someone else made toward us, we become tangled in a stronghold that will take over our life and make us the most unhappy, depressed, hateful, grumpy individuals.  If the enemy can get an angry response from you toward another, he will use that against you and make you into a negative just like him.

An unforgiving spirit is an evil spirit that will cause devastation in your life and the lives of all around you.   I have found that if you keep a short account of what others do to you by immediately turning to God and stating:  “Father, forgive them, they know not what they are doing. Help me forgive right now.” HE DOES IT for me and in me.  When I was young and a lot dumber, I would get mad and seethe over everything, cuss and cry and carry on like a wild woman, develop headaches that were monsters, feel like I wanted to hurt someone, and this would last until some time had passed and I could get over it. But I still had this mean spirit about what had taken place and every time I would see that person I would get all tied up in knots thinking about how they had talked to me, treated me or acted toward me.  It would all fly right back up into my face and  I would be getting mad again.

That all changed when Jesus came into my heart.  When I understood that He had been done a lot worse than anything I had ever encountered and He never sinned, I wanted to have that same ability.  The ability to live above and not below.  I wanted to be able to walk like He walked and do the things He had done and live seriously happy.   He taught me how to deal with termites.

This is just a short version of what I have learned over the years.  One; take life seriously and recognize that you only have one life to live.  Two; assume responsibility for your own life and realize that God made man in His own image, but satan stole the joy. By that I mean; everyone has sinned and all human-kind has the same propensity to do evil.  You alone are responsible for your sin. Another person may have played a part in what happened, but you are totally responsible for your own unforgiving spirit.  Three; say out loud and agree with the Lord that your unforgiveness toward another is sin.  Four; Get rid of it by laying it down, surrender hostility, surrender anger, and the unforgiving spirit will flee. Tell God, “I forgive so and so – forgive me!”  He will and you will be too.

If the enemy tries to come back, tell him, “I am forgiven, God said so.  Take it up with the Lord!”

Have you ever thought about these words?       DO EVIL.       Take the   O   out and what do you have?

IF you take the O out of your hurts and tell the devil to be gone, grow up and become a responsable human being, the enemy can not turn you into a negative termite like himself.   That is the difference between being human and being like the devil……

Think about it…..

Hello World….Jacob’s likes… dislikes

Over the weekend, my grand babe,  4-year-old Jacob climbed up in my lap and we  (hubby Bill, sister Jan, daughter Hope and I) sat around the kitchen table and talked about what we liked and disliked about the things going on in this old world.  He sat quietly, wrapped up in my arms, for several minutes listening intently to us talk.  Suddenly, he smiled that smile and his  mouth went into overtime telling us to ‘be quiet and let him tell us what he likes and dislikes about his Mommy.’   I sat him up  straight in my lap and asked him, “Jacob, what do you like best about your Mommy and give me 10 things you like about her.”  I had a pad and pen laying on the table and as he began to speak, I listed each item.

Number 1 and 2:     Hugs and kisses

Number 3:    She feeds me good food

Number 4:    She lets me talk on the phone to granny and my friends

Number 5:    She tells me what to do.

Number 6:    She takes me to school every day.

Number 7 and 8:    She snuggles with me at bedtime when she reads  me a book

Number 9:     She asks  me questions.

Number 10:   I just like her in my heart all the time.

He was so happy to tell us this and we all laughed at how animated he was in his telling.  I then asked him this question, “Jacob, tell me 10 things you don’t like about your Mommy.”  and this was his response.

Number 1:     Don’t like it when mommy gets mad.

Number 2:    Don’t like her to yell.

Number 3:    Don’t like her to spank me.

Number 4:    Don’t like her to put peanut butter on me…(She puts a dab on the end of his nose like she does the dog when she is playing with him.)

Number 5:    Don’t like her to ‘glue’ chip on me.   (She gives him chips to eat and when he finishes, if he hasn’t eaten  all the chips, she licks them and sticks them to his forehead playing with him)

Number 6:    Don’t like her to put ‘glue’ on me….. (Spit on a napkin to wipe dirt or smudge off him)

Number 7:    Don’t like to be locked in jail….   ??????  (she had no idea what he meant by that…he has never been to a jail.)

Number 8:    Don’t like mommy to   lock me  outside.     (They have a fenced in backyard and on cleaning day, she puts both boys outside in the yard and locks the sliding glass door so she can clean house and watch them at the same time.)

Number 9:    Don’t like mommy to put jelly on me…. (When putting jelly on pancakes, she sometimes wipes a smudge on his cheeks or lips or the end of his nose…playing with him.)

Number 10:   Don’t like mommy putting cheeto’s on me.  (When eating sandwiches with cheeto’s, she sometimes dips them in coke and  sticks them on his cheeks or the back of his hands as she is cleaning up, playing with him)

We all laughed as he finished his dislikes and he smiled like he had the most fun telling his story. With that little face beaming like he had won an academy award, I asked him if there were any more secrets he wanted to tell and he  smiled the biggest smile and said, “Nope, that is everything I like and dislike about Mommy.”     Grandpa smiled and ruffed his hair and said, “Well, boy, you seemed to enjoy telling all that about your Mommy.”  He smiled bigger and said, “I did, I sure did!”

What fun it is to include the little ones in the conversation and see the joy of them thinking they have taken a step into the adult world when all the time, we took a step into the world of a child and learned some things we didn’t know;     just by listening…….
