Hello World…Worship is

A friend of mine is going through a very trying time and the test is on.   As I sat watching the situation unfold, I prayed that the Lord would show us all the end from the beginning, but He has decided that He wants us to grow in grace as we watch the glory of God unfold.

In John 4:24, the Word says:    God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship  Him in spirit and in truth.

I looked up three words  in the American Heritage Dictionary and it said:

Worship: The reverent love and allegiance accorded a deity. Ardent, humble, devotion. A set of ceremonies, prayers or other religious forms by which this love is expressed.

Spirit:     The Holy Ghost. God.

Truth:    Conformity to knowledge, fact, actuality or logic. Fidelity to an original or standard. Reality, actuality. A statement proven to be or accepted as true. Sincerity, integrity, honesty.

Everything we go through must be tested against the Truth of God’s Word.  If God’s Word is truth, and I believe it is; then whatever He says, we can count on happening.  If we believe what He says, we have the assurance that He being God and He created everything, then the truth of the matter is:  He said: By His stripes, I am healed therefore I am.   He said:  All things are possible, therefore,  they are possible.   He said:  I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.  I can.   We are more than conquerors, then we are.  No matter what man says, no matter what man does, no matter what is going on around us:  God has the final word.  It is our responsibility to trust and believe Him.

Worship is reverent belief and allegiance accorded to God by ardent, humble devotion settled by prayer expressed in love.

This is our daily bread…….
