What is a name? What does it mean? How do you feel when you hear your name called?
I was thinking about what a names means to the person to whom it belongs and I wondered ‘do we really understand what our names means and how it is used in a sentence? Have you heard your name being yelled out in a crowd ? used as a curse word? screamed at the top of someones lungs? Whispered lovenly in your ear? denigrated and misused in gossip?
We should be careful how we use and say other people’s name, especially the Name above all Names. There is a Name we can call upon and be saved:
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved”
Seek first the Kingdom …….the Name is there,
